About Me
I've been drawing and playing video games for as long as I can remember. I taught myself the basics of how to draw, but I'm constantly learning and getting better. When I was 17, I bought a Wacom Cintiq tablet and taught myself to draw in Photoshop. I've also had a mild interest in video production, making short, silly YouTube videos and what not.
I would consider myself a nerd. From the Nintendo Entertainment System to building my own PC rig, video games have always been a big part of my life. I've spent a great deal of time thinking and learning about game design, both practical and theory. My final project in High School was about the tendency for video games to be violent and explaining the relationship between movement- and spacial systems and violence.
I also love playing Dungeons and Dragons, which I feel is the ultimate blend of narrative, mechanics and creativity. D&D has also helped me develop my creativity, improvisational skills and confidence, and made me more aware of story structure, particularly in interactive mediums.
I've always loved drawing. I've used drawing to express my emotions in good and bad times. Sometimes there just aren't words to describe how you feel.
